I used some CP inks on Arches rough watercolor paper and used Anja's Large Oval Die from Marianne Designs and some Arianna Blooms from Heartfelt Creations colored with Zig markers. I brushed the flowers with Nuvo's Moonstone Glimmer paste. A little bling and a couple of beaded floral stick pins to finish it up.

I was in love with the distressed copper look of Prima's patina pastes and have been dying to try it. I cast a frame in resin from a mold I made. I covered the frame in gesso then the patina past and absolutely love the final look of the frame. It looks like it's been sitting at the bottom of the ocean for about a hundred years...so cool! I did a background with distress oxides/Inks splattered with some water. I wanted to contrast the overall distress look with some sparkly flowers but kept them in the same color pallet, these are Heartfelt Creations Delightful Daisies colored with Zig markers and then a little Spectrum Noir sparkle pen added on top.
This may be one of my most favorite things I've made in a while, it took hours to bring everything together but I love the final result. |
